Virginia’s Republicans and conservatives are invited to join the March for Trump in Washington, D.C. this Saturday. A bus will depart from Richmond on Saturday morning for the event, also called “Million MAGA March.”
City of Richmond Republican Committee member Jennifer Anderson came up with the idea to bus Virginians to the rally. In an interview with The Virginia Star, Anderson shared that the widespread mistrust in election integrity inspired her to take action.
“I was told: if you can do anything, donate to the Donald J. Trump Committee. We need a team of lawyers to contest the election,” she said.
However, the increasing allegations of voting irregularities and fraud caused Anderson to desire for involvement beyond donations.
“This time it’s critical, because they’ve just presented the evidence [for potential voter fraud] to the Supreme Court,” she said.
At that point, Anderson reached out to her friend, Elizabeth Butler, to make reservations for the bus and social media coverage. Both women encouraged Virginian Republicans and conservatives to show up for their President through social media.
“You know, it’s kind of the reverse [of what we’ve traditionally done],” stated Anderson. “Before, he came to us. And now, we come to him. Why shouldn’t we come to him? To me, this rally isn’t only supporting President Trump. It’s about our Republic.”
Bus tickets are $25 per person. Ticket requests can be made through [email protected]. Payments can be made through Venmo @Virginia-Anderson-69 after emailing reservation requests.
The bus will meet at 8:30 am EST at Glenside Park & Ride, and depart at 9 am. The bus will arrive in D.C. at Freedom Plaza, where the group will walk together to the Supreme Court. After the event, the bus will depart from D.C. at 4 pm.
Anderson stated that this was the least that President Donald Trump’s supporters could do.
“This is easy – you show up at 8 am and you’re driven there. You can bring whatever you want. And, you’ll be home in time for dinner,” she said. “It’s only $25.”
State Representative-Elect Marjorie Greene (R-GA-Paulding County) also announced that she would also be attending the march in D.C. on Saturday.
Amy Kremer, another Georgian as well as the Women for America First Chairwoman and Women For Trump Co-Founder, dispelled rumors that the march was cancelled. Kremer warned that Big Tech companies such as Facebook, Mailchimp, and Eventbrite were spreading false cancellation notices.
The rally will begin at noon on Saturday, November 14th. Individuals may also RSVP through #StopTheSteal on their website.
